Point Table Module

The Point Table Module along with the Loop Interface Module (NLIS02) and Serial Interface Module (NSIM01/INSIM01) form the NCIU01 interface for a Plant Loop System. During Computer Interface Unit operations, the NPTM01/INPTM01 provides the major portion of the decision-making process by interpreting commands from the computer. Some commands produce immediate replies to the computer with information from the NPTM01/INPTM01’s point table (information on points read by the computer), while others demand that the NPTM01/INPTM01 send and receive plant loop messages as well as alter the point table before replying to the computer.
