NCIU03

Computer Interface Unit, Enhanced - replaced with INPCI02

The NCIU03 consists of three modules; the Loop Interface Module (NLIM03), the Bus Transfer Module (NBTM01) and the Loop Storage Module (NLSM02) located in a dedicated Module Mounting Unit (MMU) and two Termination units along with cables. It allows a computer or Engineering Work Station (EWS) to communicate with NETWORK 90. Access to function block outputs, module status along with data monitoring and control by the process computer are also provided by the NCIU03. The NCIU03 communicates only on Plant Loop and supports 5000 tags.
