The INOSM01 is Bailey Sereg\'s ethernet CIU. The OSM comprises of 6 MMU modules that communicate between the Infi-Net via a SCSI CIU and a 486 Intel processor in a Bailey MMU form factor. The 486 board runs SCO Unix and the semAPI. The OSM can be communicated by up to 10 PC or Unix clients using TCP/IP. It provides bi-directional data access over Ethernet (TCP/IP) to the INFI90 system from computer software applications. Software applications make read/write data \"calls\" (using semAPI (LIAPI)) to the Open Systems Manager to establish communications with the INFI90 system. The OSM acts as a node on the customer\'s Ethernet to provide system data to other nodes on the Ethernet network.
