INNPM01

Network Processing Module

The INNPM01 module acts as a translator between INFI-NET and Controlway. The INNPM01 module holds the process control unit database and directs the communication process between the modules residing on controlway and the INNIS01 or INNIS11 module. The INNPM01 module is a single printed circuit board that occupies the slot adjacent to the INNIS01 or INNIS11 module in the module mounting unit. The circuit board contains a microprocessor based communications circuitry that enables it to interface with the NIS module and all Controlway modules. The HCU interface made up of the INNIS01 or INNIS11 module and INNPM01 module is fully compatible with existing INFI 90 OPEN systems using INFINET.
