INIIT03

Infinet to Infinet local transfer module serves as a link between two Infinet rings. It holds the node database and is responsible for transferring all messages between the rings. The INIIT03 has a 30,000 point capacity (depending on point type). The IIT03 is part of the Infinet to Infinet local interface along with 2 NIS01's. The INIIT03 is an IMMFP03 based module and therefore, must be connected to an IMMPI0X for the serial ports. The INIIT03 communicates directly with the NIS on each ring of the interface via the expander bus.
