Digital Logic Station Interface Module

The NDSM05/IMDSM05 has two groups of eight signals that are user-configurable to be digital inputs or outputs. Both types of signals interface with the Multi-Function Controller and field process equipment. As with the NDSM04/IMDSM04, only twenty of these modules may be attached to a Multi-Function Controller or Processor because of high power consumption. Digital I/O slave is able to interface a maximum of 16 24 VDC digital inputs or outputs (configured in groups of 8; 8 inputs and 8 outputs, or 16 inputs, or 16 outputs) to an LMM/MFC. The DSM05 also enables the master module to communicate to a maximum of 8 NDLS02s. The DSM05 load current capabilities may be increased by terminating the slave with an NTDO02.
