FUNCTION BLOCK

Function Blocks are generic software control algorithms that are used to perform specific tasks. Function blocks reside in the user defined memory of master modules. To program a function block, the following parameters must be defined: Block Address, Function Code and Specification List. Pictorial representations of function blocks with their block addresses, function codes and specifications appear on Bailey CAD drawings.
