- CONFIGURATION AND TUNING TERMINAL
-
The CTT02/CTT12 is an engineering and maintenance terminal for the Bailey Command Series product line. It provides a local means for configuration, tuning and diagnostics. It is a handheld device, which comes with a blank cartridge, which is inserted in the bottom of the unit for storing configurations. A cable connects to the Command Series unit and provides the necessary power and signal inputs. One end connects to the top of the CTT02/CTT12 and the other plugs into the Command Series unit. The Command Series unit receives and transmits signals by way of the Module Bus. This system of communication allows the unit to act as a “stand-alone product” or as part of a larger system. The Module Bus is the local level communication bus and is required when using multiple Command Series units. It is the bi-directional communication link between each unit. A maximum of 32 active units can be grouped together. Each unit must have a valid address. Address values range from 0 to 30, with 31 typically being assigned to the CTT02/CTT12. It has 32 available keys, 12 of which are used in a numeric keypad. There are 12 operation keys, which allow the user to follow step-by-step procedures for performing various functions. There are four function/cursor keys that aid in menu selection, allowing control algorithms to be added, modified and reviewed. A large alphanumeric LCD readout display allows four lines, 16 characters per line for easy operator interface.
