MODULE BUS EXTENDER

The Module Bus for the Command Series is a serial bi-directional communications link for passing process and configuration data to other Command Series Controllers and/or an INFI 90/NETWORK 90 System. The CBE01 extends the module bus distance from 33 feet (10 m) to a maximum of 2,000 feet (610 m). A minimum of two Module Bus Extenders are required to communicate between two points but more bus extenders may be added for multi-point communication networks. A maximum of 32 CBE01’s may be placed in a network. If the maximum distance of the module bus connecting a group of modules does not exceed 33 feet, then the module bus extender is not necessary.
